This is a ’55 Porsche speedster in a unique bare metal state. This car has been waiting to be restored for the past 35 years. You now have the opportunity to complete this wonderful car my father, Roy Sasaki – a Porsche restoration specialist, had always wanted to get to when he had time. He had been working on and off (more off) over the past 35 years. The car has been stripped down to bare metal for final metal finishing. You can see from the picture there is some rust/rust repair in the underbody areas, namely in the usual problem areas of the battery box and floor pans. Overall the car is in great shape and can be the foundation for a very rewarding restoration as you can assess what is the full state of the car in its current state. You can see from the pictures the car is unmolested and does not show any obvious body repairs. The car comes with a large number of parts to complete the car. I cannot guarantee all parts are available, but all the major components are there. There are duplicates of some of the parts and replacement NOS parts.
