88 IROC Z Being offered is a 1988 Iroc Z28 Convertible with only 72,000 original miles. This Iroc runs and drives great. It was a California production car that has been garage kept, never seen rain or snow, and well maintained all its life. Only 3,761 convertible Iroc's were produced in 1988. This car offers the following: Power Train: This Z has its original Tune Port Engine that runs great. The car doesn't smoke or use oil. It has recently been tuned up and serviced. It also has Elderbrock Headers, and Flowmaster exhaust. Oil has been changed every 3000 miles. Trans is a rebuilt 700R4 with a B&M shift kit. Car shifts strong. The rear is a 3:73 gear , with all new bearings. All fluids have been recently changed. This car needs nothing mechanically. Exterior The paint is nearly flawless. The body is dent, and rust free. The undercarriage is also very solid. This car has never been involved in any accidents. It has had one repaint in 2001. The paint is very slick and shows mirror like reflections as can been seen in the pictures. Paint has a small spot on the passenger side quarter up under the spoiler , and the typical small rock chips in lower front bumper. See last pic. Overall paint and body are very nice as can be seen in the pictures. The convertible top is in perfect condition, and back plastic window is very clear. The car sits on new 17” chrome Iroc wheels and brand new Z rated tires. Interior The interior in this Iroc is very clean. The dash pad has a small crack in front left corner about an inch long. The driver’s seat has a little wear on the edge in the common place. All gauges, lights, power windows, mirrors, seats, trunk, wipers, and cruise control work. Ac also blows very cold.
