This auction's opening bid must be $500 but after that the high bidder will own this custom frame made for a unit construction Triumph engine. This bike was displayed in a 50s style diner for a number of years which closed. It is my understanding that the bike was not a runner our was ridden. The Triumph engine was just a "mock up" and the rest of the bike never had controls, ignition or wiring. I have since sold the engine pieces and the frame and associated hardware is what you would be bidding on here. Paint is more of an aqua color rather than a blue in the pictures, very similar to the mid 50s Ford color that was so popular back then. There are some nicks and scrapes but overall not to bad. The gas tank has some rust inside but appears real solid and should cleanup. Nice chrome over-under TT pipes that exit on the right side of the bike, chrome foot pegs and rear motor mounts included. You will have to fabricate the motor mount on the down tube behind the engine to mount it correctly. Also, the steering head bearings are loose and deserve attention. Tires are like new, wheels are clean, oil tank, battery box and coils are mounted. Study the pictures and ask questions if needed. All that is included in the sale is pictured. This Triumph frame is located in Jackson Tennessee halfway between Memphis and Nashville off I 40. This frame does not have a VIN number and there is no title. Check with your local DMV and see what is required for this bike to be made ready for the street. The model year was something I came up with due to number of people that follow the oil tank Triumphs. Short term storage is not a problem at my shop. I will answer questions promptly.
