It was marketed as the Honda Hobbit in the USA and as the Honda Camino in the UK and Europe. The model earned its place in history as being the last motor-wheel moped design produced by Honda (and probably by any other manufacturer). It features a stepthrough frame made from steel pressings, leading link front suspension, plastic fenders and chaingaurd. The fuel tank was located above the rear fender, and the distinguishing feature of the design was that the 50cc Single Overhead Cam engine was located at the extreme lower left rear of the frame, all of the driveline components being housed within the hub of the rear wheel. The vehicle itself was manufactured in a factory in Belgium until 1991. Though it has mostly disappeared from the streets of the USA and the UK like most mopeds of similar type (e.g. Motobecane Mobylette and Puch Maxi), it remains popular very in Belgium, where it is often modified using high performance parts.
