Vehicle Detail

I was asked to show a video of the truck running, but I have no clue on how to post that to Ebay. If anyone is interested, I took a video with my cell phone showing the truck running. I will forward the video to anyone that wants it, just provide me an email address or cell phone number that you can watch a video on. I purchased this Bronco from an elderly Lady out of Tombstone, AZ. It is a TRUE Arizona truck and has been in Arizona ALL it's life. My intention was to drive it back to my home state of Michigan and use it as an off-roader. Unfortunately, without my tools, I can't do everything that I need to do to it to make it "Road-ready" for the trip back. The vehicle has been sitting since 2005, but before that it was a daily driver. The elderly lady stated that she stopped driving the truck because gas had gotten to be too expensive. I purchased a new battery, gave it a complete tune-up, put a couple of used tires on it and drove it back to Sierra Vista from Tombstone. With a little bit of work and a little bit of money, she'll be road and off-road ready in no time! It has the 351M engine with the C-6 transmission. The engine runs STRONG! The vehicle itself is "SOLID"!!! It has a few nicks and minor bruises, but the vehicle is 32 years old. I was told that the mileage on the vehicle is original showing 83,048, and from how it looks under the hood, it is believable. It does have the peeling clear coat that most Arizona vehicles develop from being sun-scortched. The interior of the vehicle isn't in TOTAL disarray, but it does need some work. Actually, it was probably considered to be "cool" when it was installed back in it's day!(It's plush red velvet)It is missing the passenger sun-visor(It may be in there, I haven't looked.) It also has a VERY solid Reese trailer hitch installed on it as well. As far as I can tell, these are the things that I can noticably see that it needs: 1. All the fluids drained and refilled as well as a new trans filter from sitting. I was told that the transmission was serviced just before the vehicle was parked.(And the fluid is VERY clean.) 2.It needs a new front drive-shaft. I don't know why it is missing, because the 4 wheel drive does work. I'm thinking that the u-joints went bad and she lost it, because the u-joints are still attached. 3. It may need the carb serviced. After I tuned it up, it would shut down at idle. This may be due to it not having been ran since 2005. After I drove it from Sierra Vista, it remains running at idle now. 4. The ac compressor is missing. 5. The heater-core is disconnected. I don't know if the core itself is bad or not, but it is disconnected. 6. It is missing the headlight switch and wiper knobs. 7. The dash lights aren't coming on. Could be a fuse, I haven't checked it. The vehicle does have an aftermarket radio/cassette player, so whoever installed it could have screwed the dash illumination up. What I did to it. 1. I siphoned all the old gas out and put new gas in it. 2. I gave it a complete tune-up which included a distributer cap, rotor, spark plug wires, spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter and a new coil. 3. Installed a new thermostat. 4. 2 used tires. I did find the blue book value through NADA. With the 351M engine and 4 wheel drive, NADA has the low-end value at $4175 and the high-end at$10,025, and you can verify this at: http://www.nadaguides.com/Classic-Cars/1979/Ford/Bronco/2-Door-Utility-4x4/Values The VIN number of the Bronco is U15HLFE1852. I've tried to be as detailed as possible, but if there are ANY questions, feel free to email me or text/call (313)574-3575.If you would like to see the vehicle, feel free to contact me. The vehicle is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early if there are no bids. Thank you.
