1972 Volvo 164E We are the second owners of this sturdy classic VOLVO noted for it's longevity which was purchased new from the Auto Martin Mercedes/Volvo Dealership in Grants Pass, Oregon by a Mt. Shasta, California couple. After serving them for 30 years circumstances forced them to park their Volvo near their home for the next 5 years. Then we happened upon it and finally persuaded them to part with their "Vintage Swedish Gem". Of course the paint had faded, the seats and seals were brittle and cracked but it was all there, completely original. We began a piece by piece restoration immediately and now 3 years later it is restored. Unfortunately because of health issues we are no longer able to enjoy it and have reluctantly decided to sell. It still isn't perfect, but has been a daily driver for the past 6 months.
