1964 VW 13 Window type 2 This vehicle is SWEET ! Definitely a must for the Avid Collector of a car that created a culture . I bought this 4 years ago and it has been completely gone over. Everything is fresh and runs great ! HIGH PERFORMANCE ENGINE ! Fresh 2332 4 cyl engine with new twin Webbers and linkage , new intake ,custom headers with a stainless exhaust, high output alternator , and an oil cooler. New Freeway Flyer transmission geared perfectly, 4" narrowed , adjustable front beam, Porsche disc brakes all around with Fuchs rims and new tires. This bus is an attention getting , show stopper that can be used as a daily driver !! You don't want this bus if you are shy as people will smile and wave at you ALOT when you drive it and then wait around to talk to you when it is parked somewhere ! ; ) Paint is fresh PPG custom mixed ( low metallic silver and frost white) and the interior floor has been POR-15 treated and then heat and sound insulated before the new carpet kit was installed and the whole interior had Dynomat installed before the new 2 tone Wolfsburg interior panels were installed. There are dual batteries ,a stereo withI-pod jack and a 3000 watt amp. The roof rack is original but I replaced the wood with Mahogany and also installed the same wood in the double door threshold. 11 of the windows on this beauty are Safari style,including rear window. This bus is fast and perfect with no body rust. Panels that had rust were replaced with new metal, not bondo.
