Hello, Up for sale is my 79 Trans Am Bandit Clone. Originally, The car had the Olds 403 Engine, Now it has a pontiac 400 That has been bored and stroked to a respectable 468 CI With 475 Horsepower. Engine, Transmission, and rear gear are Freshly installed. Trans is a Turbo 400 with a 2800 stall converter. Rear gear is 3:08 ratio with positrac. No expenses were spared on the Drive train. The Engine has all of the goodies, Eagle Crank& Rods, Keith black pistons, Comp cam & lifters, Edelbrock Aluminum Heads, Edelbrock intake and carb with the endura shine finish. Carb is 800 CFM's Also a March Performance serpentine pulley and belt system. Chrome Alternator, Chrome A/C Compressor , Valve covers, Oil pan. Also installed, MSD Ignition with pro-billet distributor and Taylor 8mm wires, Headman Hustler ceramic coated Headers, 21/2 inch exhaust tubing with Flomaster super 44's into the famous T/A Splitters. The starter is a Powermaster high torque mini starter. It will spin the engine with no problem, Hot or Cold. Car also has a BeCool Aluminum radiator with twin electric fans, Engine does Not Over heat. The interior is in very good condition, no cracks in the dash, no rips or tears in the upolstry,Carpet is excellent. The paint and decals are a 8 on a scale to 10, The paint shines very nicely. This T/A has T-Tops ,Power windows& door locks that work, Also all of the gages, including the Tach and clock work as well. Car has an aftermarker stereo with DVD player. I have the original spare tire and jack, not in car right now. T-Top storage bags are in the trunk as well and in very good condition. Tires are brand new, BF Goodrich radial T/A's, Wheels have been restored, repainted and powder coated for easy care. This Great looking car needs a good home. Reason for selling is, I don't have the time to drive it anymore. Over 30 K Invested. Forgot to mention, Only 1,500 miles on new powertrain. Dont let the horsepower hold you back, This car is very streetable on premium fuel. Im sure im leaving out a few things.
