Up for sale is a 1999 Kia Sportage Convertible with low miles and super clean! Includes: new $800 top, roll bar, air bags, automatic transmission, cold a/c, power windows, power locks, alarm, detachable cd player with ipod port, running boards, Thule bike rack, premium wheels with locking lug nuts, matching tires with good tread, and 85,000 original miles...that's less than 8,000 miles/year!! Interior is immaculate with no flaws. The exterior has a few paint blemishes. The windshield has a substantial crack that has been there for 5 years...never got around to fixing it. The gas door release cable needs to be repaired. The hinge on the rear tailgate is broken but the tailgate will close. This vehicle is missing tailpipe so it will not pass emissions within city limits; I had it registered where emissions was not required. It looks and runs great...a real gas saver! As for the "substantial" crack in the windshield, it is a very large crack that runs the length of the windshield; it has been there for 5 years since I bought the vehicle and it has not caused me any problem, but it would look nicer cosmetically if it was replaced. I have driven the Kia across the country from Washington state to Georgia 5 times with no problems whatsoever. To define paint blemishes: the vehicle has some minor rock chips, parking lot dings, and paint touch-ups...remember this is a an 11 year old vehicle.
