1965 Chevrolet Impala Convertible Super Sport We are the 3rd owners of this all Original Light Yellow beauty. This car has resided in Arizona for all 45 years (no rust) and is 100% original from 1965 EXCEPT for the new convertible top, tires, (current) low mileage LS1 engine & 4L60e transmission. The original numbers matching complete 300 horse 327 engine & powerglide transmission will be included with the car in this auction. The original engine/transmission are not installed but come with the original bracketry. The exterior is the original paint from 1965 with some laquer checking, this car has never been repainted and is 100% rust free. Black interior with bucket seats, driver seat shows some minor wear but this is a very clean original black interior. The console has a clock in the center, vacuum gauge in the dash, power windows/brakes/steering. The all power convertible top has been replaced with a new rear window. All door seals, windows, SS trim, bumpers are from 1965. Front Suspension has been rebuilt with new bushings. The rear is a little squeaky so will need to be gone through. The car has been lowered using 1 3/4" springs in the front & 2" springs in the rear. It has some get-up-and-go supplied by a factory LS1 with a computer and pain-less wiring harness that controls the engine & 4L60e transmission. The 373 gears in the rear end with auburn POSI make for a dependable & fun ride on the freeway. This is not your Grandma's car. The (4) factory accessory Wire hubcaps & (4) Super Sport hubcaps come with the car (see pictures) The car is also being sold locally in Arizona and we reserve the right to end the auction early.
