You are bidding on a 1966 Jaguar Mark II 2.4L with overdrive. The car is basically solid, but there are areas of concern that need metal work, specifically the trunk floor, spare tire well and edges of front drivers floor. I have shown all areas of apparent rust in the photos attached. The rest of the car, including other floor areas inside - seem to be solid. This car has an old Louisiana registration but no title. Buyer may opt to have seller process paperwork for a clear title for an additional $200 to cover processing fees if so desired. The best features of the car are as follows: 1. Car is 95% complete, with the exception of sidelamps and flasher lenses, leaping Jaguar hood ornament, plastic medallion for grill and turn signal switch; no tools or jack; perhaps a few other items may be missing but nothing major. 2. Interior wood is all there and looks good. The only piece requiring re-veneering is the fascia capping under the front windshield 3. Engine is original, complete and all numbers match ID plate on the car. Cams and covers were unbolted for some reason and are now loosely fitted back to the head but have no rust on them. 4. Some parts that came with the car are new, such as the twin Solex carburetor rebuild kits and slave cylinder kit for the transmission. 5. Doors close easily with no sag and are very solid. 6. All chrome is there and in decent condition. 7. Note that I just added a complete original Jaguar factory overhaul gasket set - head gasket, manifold gaskets, etc. This car is worth restoring. However, prospective buyers should expect the engine to need a total rebuild and significant metal work to be required if attempting a restoration. Seats and interior are in need of a complete refurbishment. Car is located in Central Virginia and seller offers to help with transport by recommending reliable haulers. Seller will store this vehicle for up to 30 days prior to pickup. No warranties of any kind - explicit or implied - come with purchase of this vehicle.
