1971 SS 396 Chevelle Cowl Induction Hood . Build sheet, matching numbers on block, rebuilt engine thats very Tight, and Strong. Bored 30 over, mild cam, I had head work done, I had the big valves put in 1.88 and 2.19 unshrouded, and pocket ported the heads, it has ARP head bolts and Manley valves, I put Crane roller rockers, and it has a Edelbrock Performer RPM and a holley 750 vacum secondary carb. It also has under drive pulleys, and 2in headers, and a HEI super coil .This car was a column shift, and is now on the floor with a ratchet, Its A Turbo 400, and 4.11 gears car. Car runs mid 13's . The sheet metal is weak. all the sheet metal needs attention or replacement. the floors are solid I put some bondo on a small hole on the driver side, The left QTR has plenty of bondo in it (its RUFF). the right QTr was replaced with an after market piece of sheet metal and is good and solid. Both fenders have rust in the doglegs, I had the trunk repaired, the guy put the replacement sheetmetal over the original trunk, and did not cut out the original floor. It is solid and looks good, and the original trunk floor has a couple of holes but it is solid. The frame is rust free and straight. The car has very good tires on it, on the correct optional SS wheels, There is no headliner, the car needs an E-brake cable that I bought but did not install, I will include it with the car. This car suffers from HEAT SOAK in the starter (starts fine, but not when HOT ), it needs a new starter, and a shield to prevent it from happening again. The left exhaust has a hole, and the exhaust is only 2 in, so there are horses to be released there. The Brakes are good." The car RUNS STRONG". Divorce forces SALE.
