BEST DEAL ON EBAY. This is a great daily driving TR6. I have done a lot to this car. Runs great, looks great and one of the most fun cars I have ever driven. I have owned this for 1.5 years and have too many cars, so I need to part with this British toy. Prior to my buying the car it had a ground up restoration. All my mechanical was done by local British Mechanic. I have done or had the following done: 2010: Flushed Radiator, replaced all hoses with green hoses. Rear Shocks, replaced Seat Diaphragm, Oil Changed, Fuel Filter, new Spark Plugs, New Battery, New tires (General Alitmax HP's 205/65-15) very nice performance tire, 98% life on them. Replaced all lug nuts with new chorme lug nuts. I have, but not installed new boot cover. Current one is in great shape, no need to replace at this time. I have a grey cockpit cover that covers interior when top is down, it uses velcro and clips to hold secure, great on sunny days! 2009: Replaced fuel pump, replaced Brake Master Cyl., and Rear Wheel Cyl., Installed electronic ignition, new spark plugs, new choke cable, repacked front wheel bearings, replaced carb diaphragm, and adjusted needle O ring, replaced door glass seals, new fuse box, (all electrical works great). Replaced the intake manifold gasket, replaced oil sump gasket and cleaned out oil pan. Replaced ignition wires with 8mm Cobalt and replaced ignition coil. Changed relay spade terminals, has new wheel trim rings-have old ones, replaced gas tank (still have original-goes with sale of car). I added a very nice 200 watt am/fm receiver which you can plug ipod into, fantastic sound. FULL set of trunk spare tire tools with English leather pouch. New spare tire rim. I have also replaced worn knobs, sun visors, new floor mats, gear shift and numerous nuts and bolts. Seats, carpet all in great shape. Chrome is in great shape-last year for TR6 Chrome bumpers. Trunk is solid. The not so good, has a small oil leak. Mechanic states insignificant at this time. I do not need to add oil. Most Triumphs leak some oil. The paint is very sharp, glossy, no outside rot or rust, however, it does have some crack lines (see pics) in the joints along the fenders, you really need to be on top of car to see them. This car gets a lot of compliments and did when second place in a local show. Floor pans solid, underneath solid, and exhaust is in great condition, gives the TR6 a great sound. Car has surface rust in engine bay area, (see pics) and inside of trunk lid, very minor (see pics). Top is in great condition. I have included a lot of pics, I have over a hundred of the car. CT isssues no titles for classic/antique cars, sale is completed by transfer of registration and Bill of Sale. I do have a title from previous owner and Motor Vehicle Owner Title ReassignmentSupplement from previous owner showing transfer to me. Car was sold with exempt mileage, speedo states 52K but previous owner replaced nonworking speedo with current one. He estimated 60K when replaced, I would be comfortable to say mileage is between 60-80k. 500.00 dollar deposit due via PayPal at conclusion of auction, (within 24 hrs). Remaining balance due before car is released and must be via Bank/Cashiers Check only. Car is sold as is, no warranty, and transportation cost of car is the responsibility of the buyer.
