Vehicle Detail

Condition:The engine starts first kick and purrs at a steady idle with no studders or hiccups, no oil leaks, no smoke, no valve noise. PERFECT runner. The clutch is does not slip or chatter and it goes through all the gears exactly as it should. Brand new chain that wasn't installed in the photos but it is now. The tires are at about 90% with no weather cracks, tubes hold air, rims are perfectly true, no bent or loose spokes, brakes have plenty of use left and work great. The fuel system is in abnormally fantastic condition. The inside of the tank is pure chrome clean without the slightest bit of anything close to imperfection. New fuel lines even though it didn't need it. The petcock does not leak and works as it should. Carbs have been inspected and tuned to perfection. The electrical system is in perfect working condition. Horn, charging system, new sterling battery, new ngk plugs, points in great shape, Head, tail and brake lights all work as well as all the dash indicators. Extras:The bike seems to have a few extra things I've never seen before on a 160. It has a very cool skid plate that has no dents and seems to be a factory option. It has a rear rack that could be factory but I don't have any idea. It fits very well on the bike but doesn't have a lens in the tail light. The factory tail light comes with the bike but it doesn't come with a lens either The rear sprocket has a larger off road sprocket that is mounted behind the street sprocket. The chain guard won't go on with that large sprocket installed so I would recommend removing it. It comes with the original complete tool kit and the original owner's manual. The Bad:The steering stabilizer adjuster is broken, the back of the front fender has a dent, the right pipe has two small dents on the underside, seat has a good size rip. Overall:It is absolutely amazing how well this bike has survived the 46 years of it's existence. It has NEVER been restored and doesn't need to be. The paint might not be quite as vibrant as it once was but it runs and rides like the day it rolled off the line, maybe better. These bikes are extremely popular with vintage racing and many have been chopped up and turned into race bikes. Originals like this just aren't around anymore. If you have any questions e-mail me and I will get back with you the same day. Thanks for looking!
