93 BMW 318i 99,500 miles - Strong AUTO Trans - Excellent Mechanical Condition - Drives Excellent Up for sale is my daughter's 93 BMW 318i. This is a great car in excellent mechanical condition. We have had the car for the past five years and it has been very reliable for her, only ever needing minor service and maintenance. I expect it to perform the same for the next owner. I drive only German cars my whole live and I have to say that this one was and still is a MAINTENANCE FREE CAR. This car never asks for anything except for gas and highway ride !!! Truly German car - not the way they make them these days. This one was made in 1993 with the real German Quality that you will not see currently. Mechanical Condition The engine and trans are strong, staying true to the 318i's legendary reliability. Very good on gas. The trans executes swiftly and smoothly shifts every time, and has never slipped. The engine never required supplemental oil between oil changes. It warms up fast and never overheats in any weather. It drives straight with no vibration or shimmy through the steering wheel. The steering is direct with no slop or vagueness present. The brakes are strong with no pulsation from the pedal. The tires are very good (front tires are new, rear are very good condition) and they are all season tires. Mechanical Problems Moon roof does not operate. It was in operating condition when I purchased the car but during the five years we own the car, my daughter never use it and now it is not working because of lack of use (my guess). Interior and Exterior appearance The paint still shines nicely however there is a few minor scratches which are not visible in the pictures (they are so small). Interior the car looks close to new (no scratches or any imperfections on seats nor dashboard at all) - very nice BMW. All in all, the car presents excellent but it's age is evident upon very close inspection. This 1993 BMW 318i is a very nice car for the age!!! It RUNS PERFECT and has never been chipped or turned up. It’s a hard to find car like this with a real good condition! Don’t let the miles scare you away, this BMW just broke in - do not forget, this is old German car built with perfection to last forever and it will !!!! RUNS AND DRIVES PERFECT!!
