STREET LEGAL LANDCRUISER, THAT CAN COMFORTABLY DRIVE TO THE SPOT, DO THE DEAL, AND DRIVE HOME. SMOOTH AT 70MPH AND CRAWLING OVER A ROCK IN LOW RANGE WITH E-LOCKERS ON. After years of searching for the perfect locked FJ80 my brother found a mint 80 from Toyota of Wilmington with 72,000 miles. It was a one owner dream truck, garaged for its life and it was immaculate. We took the truck to Lance at www.ironpiggoffroad.com, and had their company make the modifications. IPOR modified with 3.5” coil overs Old Man Emu / iron piggs custom fj80 skid plate/ steering stabilizer. Beautiful truck at this point. Mostly used as a daily driver by my brother with his weak commute of 2 miles to work and back. 2 trips to uwharrie to enjoy the woods. The truck was borrowed by some a holes from my brothers house for a joy ride. They thought they could outrun the police with a straight 6, and tried a tight turn in Wilmington which ended in a roll over for the 80/ and 4 felonies for the joy riders. We picked up the truck from the lot where it was towed. - moved it to western NC. As a testament to the bad as nature of the vehicle, all she needed was a fluid change and a new radiator to be running smooth. Now the mutation begins. In comes Justin with unbreakable fabrication outside of Hickory NC. Basically 18volt reciprocating saw, 9 blades, and Justin’s tube bending ability created one of the most eye catching trucks of all time. Has T-bar connectors already built in to the rear seating area of the exo. Justin rhino lined the interior floor of the truck, so we would not have water/rust issues. Added front exterior seats from IPOR with 4 point harnesses front and rear. Added 35” Interco SSR http://www.intercotire.com/tires.php?id=9&g=1 We have a full sized spare with 35”ssr. Added lexan windshield to the exo cage, which is amazing at 65mph on the highway, you can talk on your cell with no problems. Extreme machines in hickory added a 2” receiver to the truck/ so we can tow the utility trailer / and mountain bike rack. We had a custom cover made that covers the interior section of the truck. Added turn signals so that the truck would be 100% street legal in NC. Added an aluminum truck box on the rear for storage. (locks as well) We have taken it off road several times, but it’s mostly used to haul the kids to soccer games, and piss off the jeep crowd, when they envy the machine. The body’s not quite as mint as it was, but it drives great. We have take off road to some of the great areas around Hickory NC. All factory Elockers work. No mechanical issues to our knowledge.
