Vehicle Detail

This scout is being sold at no reserve and i have included 2 links to over 115 large close up pics of every square corner of this scout of both the flaws and the good sides as I Don't Want The New Buyer or I To Have Any Surprises When They Show Up To Take The scout Home, so please look and read carefully and ask any and all questions:). http://img109.imageshack.us/g/img3580c.jpg/ and http://img574.imageshack.us/g/img3706k.jpg/ !! This bright orange 77 has a mean look and sound that will draw attention with its nice color combo, loud exhaust and tough lookin stance!! The paint looks great as it drives down the road but it is a Maaco / do yourelf type paint job so once you get your face in it you will see body flaws like some paint drips, orange peel , little chips and dings that were painted over , but it was done along time ago more to just preserve the body from future deterioration will still lookin perfectly presentable. I think it looks right in place with the mudder tires, wide rock crawler wheels and its offroad look. BODY/EXTERIOR- Nice solid and sound body that as mentioned above has a older cheap respray close to its original orange. Custom built bumpers front and rear, SS2 grille(some cracks), 33 maxxis mud tires on nice 15x10 black american racing crawler wheels. Hood has rust on inside of lip by hinges, but a extra rust free one comes with in factory orange. Floor boards, inner rockers and body mounts are very solid, two little rust areas on driver outer rocker and on passenger rear floor right behind wheel well( see close up pics) arma coat bedliner rolled on floor boards to protect from future rust. Fenders and doors are very straight but tailgate has a couple little dings and quarter panels have a couple bumps and bruised that were not addressed before paint but they did put new patch panels in on the well well and lower quarter. As you can see they cut out the rear splash guard so it can now be sprayed out to prevent future rust out problems. INTERIOR- The interior is 100% original except the floors so it shows its age, but they are very basic so its affordable and easy to update them. The seats have covers, but the factory material is mostly gone and look like back seat so they could use a restore or complete replace from nice lookin cheap seats like a bestop seat conversion for about $300. All gauges are clear and work properly. Nice Smitty built roll bar, push button starter and no the stereo only has center speaker. DRIVE-TRAIN- The motor is the original 345 8cyl with 727 auto transmission, Factory A/C( needs recharge but all parts are there), Dana 44 axles front and rear with factory limited slip rear, power disc brakes up front. Hard to find x-large fuel tank. complete reverse shackle kit installed nicely, spring over lift in rear with rancho spring under springs up front. OTHER IMPORTANT ITEMS TO MAKE NOTE OF- Although this scout has some upgrades and some work done along the way done to taste and also to preserve its life it has not restored and never has been so please do expect one. This scout is lifted up, with nobby offroad tires so please expect it to drive like one. It is not tough to drive or a white knuckle adventure but it lacks feature's comforts like modern vehicles have, such as exhaust is loud, it has a carb, so it can be cold blooded, it hums going down the road due to radial mud tires tires, at low speeds 10mph and under it is bumpy due to lugs on tires, wind noise at freeway speeds due to its brick like arrow dynamics and the stereo is very basic but hey heater blows strong! :) All of these above mentioned items can be seen in close ups in link so please check them out. Overall this can driven as is and always fires right up and i think it looks cool, but has strong bones and very little money and a little hard work it can be a great lookin scout with some work done on the quaters and a higher end paint job applied. I hope I and all the close up pics have done the job to describe this rig the most true and honest possible!! GOOD LUCK AND REMEMBER NO RESERVE SO IF YOU NEED MORE PICS OR QUESTIONS DON'T HESITATE TO ASK
