I have found that the salvage rebuilders that I buy from Insurance companies are much better because the vehicle was in service and doing fine until damaged.

This is a good running and sharp looking 2002 GMC 1/2 Ton Short bed pick up with the 4.3L V-6, Automatic overdrive and 2wd. The miles are 110,453 which are very average as is the entire truck, making it a good one to rebuild. You will also be satisfied as I was not to find any hidden suprises.
The engine sounds great and will easily drive onto your trailer or tow dolly. The damage is windshield and complete front end including radiator & a/c condensor. The condensor is holding freon and blowing cold air but is damaged. The left headlamp & park lamp are not damaged. No obvious frame or suspension damage and the under-carriage pictures of both front frame rails will show both left & right front frame horns in good shape also the front tow hooks will indicate the damage went high. Both doors swing good and no damage to cowl hopefully making this a basic parts replacer and easy rebuilder?
The overall truck is in good condition and there is no rust as you can see in the pictures. The tires were just recently installed by the previous owner before damage and still had the blue coating on the raised white letters when I got it. New tires incicate that the previous owner would still be driving if not for the damage. The spare & jack are missing.
The interior is in good condition as far as no rips or tears in seats or carpet, just normal wear & tear and a good detail will make it sharp.
It is hard to believe what these trucks are worth but the ACV "Actual Cash Value" of this truck was quoted at $7500. before damage according to the previous owners Insurance Company.
