I have for sale a 1998 C5 custom corvette. I never thought i would ever sell this car but i had a recent motorcycle accident leaving me unable to drive it (lost my left leg). It has sat for the past 6 months (since i was in the hospital and recovery) I hate going outside and seeing my car and not being able to drive it cause of it being a 6 speed manual trans. I removed the front clip of my car weeks before my accident and had a zr1 front clip installed and painted by a local professional. The old flip up headlights were also removed (about a year ago) and replaced with a nonflip lights. I also replaced the front and rear brakes with a new cross drilled slotted rotors and had the calibers painted a gloss black caliber paint. The stock wheels were the next step ...replaced with upgraded size zr1 wheels.(stock was 17/18") now 18/19") The stock stereo had to go ..I wanted to be load so i had the stock stereo and all the componets removed ( i still have everything including the cd changer) I had a kenwood excelon flip out dvd/tv/receiver installed in the dash and installed new door and rear speakers.( both door speakers are now blown and have not been replaced. i also had 3 eclipse amps installed and a custom box that holds a single 12" eclipse titanium sub woofer) The box was built so that it wont interfear with the sock placement of the targa top when in storage. This car was a daily driver since it got the best gas milage of any vechile that i owned(20-25 mpg) it had plenty of power for me (completly stock) and looked good so i was set. The car needs new seat leather ..(that was the next thing on my list) leather seats.com qouted me ....i think $600.00 for both seats and custom colors.This car is not a brand new car but no one will ever guess the age of this car! it looks fresh and clean!
