We are selling this 1940 Ford Deluxe 2 Door on cosignment. Engine is a small block 350 chevy motor very clean and chromed out nicely. Transmission is a 350 turbo hydro automatic. Motor could use valve guide seals (uses a ltille oil). Transmission has small leak (uses about a pint of oil a year). Body and paint are 97% perfect. Interior is 99 % perfect. Paint is lacqauer with clear coat. No rust in floors or trunk. Front suspension is stock but completely rebuildt with power front disc brakes and drum brakes in rear and power steering. No radio. Electric fan in front of radiator, car runs very cool, fan runs manually with a on and off switch on the dash. Gas gauge located in glove box and is fairly accurate. All lights gauges and wipers are in working order. Battery in trunk inside a bag. Trunk opens electrically with switch under dash also has a red jumper wire located off fire wall in case battery goes dead. Runs down the road nice and straight. Personnally drove the vehicle, it was very nice opend up great, throaty exhaust sound, shifted fine, handled great with stiff suspension. MILEAGE SHOWS 6426....TRUE MILEAGE UNKNOWN ON 1940 Frame off and restored in 2004. It is a 1940 ford deluxe not a perfect car but close. Over 23,000 invested will entertain resoanble offers.
