71 Mercedes 250C 2dr coupe. I purchased this vehicle at an estate sale is MO about 5 years ago. It was in the process of being restored by the man who passed away. He had more cars being restored and I bought this one. It did not have any door panels on the car that is why I bought the 280C parts car that is incliuded in this sale. The 250 would run and drive but the dual carbs needed a rebuild or repalced. I had planned on putting Webbers on it but just never got around to it. The car has been parked in my garage since I bought it until just a couple of weeks ago I had to move it outside. I have put new brakes pads, rotors and calipers on all four wheels they are a little rusty from sitting. It has a new exhaust with muffler from front to rear. This car is in great condition with only 1 small rust hole on the passenger floor board, and some bubbles on the exterior from a poor paint job. The windshiled is cracked but still intact ,the 280 has a good windshied. All of the power windows are in working order, it has factory air and is an automatic. The interior is in good shape with no rips or tears. I have all the door panels and carpet pieces and they are in the trunk. The dash is cracked but I have a dash pad that I will include also with the sale. I used to drive the car arourd my neighborhood but again the carbs were not the best. I bought this car only because I had one just like it while i was in Germany and it ran fantastic. The odometer is showing around 49,000 but it may be 149,000 I don't know. I had cancer a couple of years ago and them my wife had cancer so I just have not worked on the car and have lost interest. It would be a great car to restore or just use for parts it is a cpmplete car. The 280C is a complete car minus the radiator. I was told it had a blown head gasket but I never messed with it I just bought it for parts for the 250. The 250 is not running at this time it needs a battery, carbs worked on and I am sure the tank drained and cleaned it has very old gas in it. I have tires and wheels for the gold car they are just flat and will need to be aired up. I have a clear Arkansas title for the 250 abd I have the title for the 280 but I never registered it.
