This truck looks like it has been in a time capsule since 1987. It has ABSOLUTELY NO RUST. NO RUST AT ALL. I am repeating that statement because it is almost unbelievable for a northeast older truck. It has NEVER BEEN DRIVEN IN SNOW OR ANY BAD WEATHER. This truck has never had any accident damage or body work done to it. The hood was repainted factory color due to the flaking of the original hood paint. That is it. With the exception of a glasspack muffler it is 100% bone stock original. This truck runs like the day it rolled off the assembly line. Absolutely perfect. Jump in this truck today and turn the key and drive from here to California. This is a turn key ready to drive truck that NEEDS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING !! It is ready to be enjoyed immediately. Please look at all the pictures. I even put this truck on a lift and photographed the undercarriage to show the amazing condition of it. The frame and floors are completely solid. The floors are like new. The bed still has the factory paint in it. Hardly used. I would challenge anyone to show me a nicer 1987 GMC 2500 factory original truck that has not been restored in this condition for the money. If you have a nicer one call me and I'll buy it !! In the northeast we have winters and trucks will rust. I see 2005 and newer GMC trucks with frame and cab corner rust and rot on the road. This truck is unmolested unrestored original. I have every receipt and documentation for all service work performed and recent parts installed on this truck. I welcome any potential buyer to please come check this truck out in person. Please try to find anything wrong with it. You can't. It is that nice of a truck. This truck is fuel injected also ! It is the heavy duty four bolt main 350 tried and true motor with TBI fuel injection. Trouble free starts every time !! The transmission is the heavy duty four speed with creeper gear. Being a 3/4 ton truck this truck is set up to haul anything. It has a brake control and receiver hitch and wiring hookups. The truck is a regular cab with an 8ft stepside bed. That's right 8ft Stepside. Very rare to find. There is a matching cap on the bed which has preserved the bed in amazing condition with the factory paint still on the bed floor from very little use. The bed is the factory wood floor bed. This truck has ice cold factory air conditiong and great heat for the winter. It has power steering for easy driving. EVERY SINGLE THING WORKS ON THIS TRUCK !! Every knob. Every light. Every gauge. Even the factory AM/FM radio with the single speaker in the middle of the dash. Please look at the interior pictures. The door panels are perfect. Door sills are perfect. Look at the picture behind the seat. Like new. The floors are factory vinyl floors in amazing condition. The seat is the factory original vinyl seat. No rips, no tears, nothing. There is a dash pad protector on the truck. There is one crack on the center of the dash pad from the sun. Very minor so to prevent any more a protective cover in matching color was installed. There is one 3 inch crack on the windshield on the far right hand side of the lower portion of the glass by the edge that has been there for three years and has not travelled or expanded at all. The drivetrain runs like new. This vehicle has been completely gone over and fully serviced. Following is a thorough and complete list of the recent work performed: A completely new exhaust system including new catalytic converter, glasspack muffler, and exhaust pipes. A new in tank fuel pump and strainer and new rubber fuel lines. A rebuilt TBI fuel injection unit including new fuel pressure regulator and "O" rings, and thorough cleaning of the unit, new fuel pump relay. A new EGR valve, and new EGR Valve solenoid. A new TPS sensor. A new idle air control valve. A new MAP sensor. A new oxygen sensor. All associated emissions sensors are new. Spark plugs, wires, a rebuilt distributor with new module, distributor cap, rotor, air filter, pcv valve all new. All the preceding items were replaced within the last 4000 miles and have all documentation and receipts to prove it. Water pump was replaced and antifreeze is bright green. Engine oil and filter have been replaced every 2000 miles, and is currently fresh and clean. It has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good until 6-2011. The front tires are in great shape, and the rear tires are in good shape. Again this truck needs nothing. Turn key drive and enjoy immediately. This truck has 94938 original miles and is ready for many more years and many many more thousands of reliable trouble free miles. I have in my possession a CLEAN PENNSYLVANIA TITLE IN HAND FOR THIS TRUCK SHOWING ACTUAL MILEAGE !!
