1986 Honda Shadow

I'd like to start off by thanking those who made an honest effort at bidding on this bike before I relisted it...FOUR TIMES!!! Three dead beats and one scammer later, here we go again....so if you don't intend to pay or want me to ship it to Siberia after I get your bogus check and send half the money back to you because you gave me three times to much $$$....please!....The money from this bike is going toward gifts for my family this year, so please if you're insincere about buying, go away........I've loward the reserve and the buy know price as well....Happy holidays! Great looking Shadow that is very nice shape for the year, a solid 8 out of 10. Bike was well maintained and garaged most of the time. Chrome is very nice and shines up beautifully. Never down so no damage of the sort. Paint is gorgeous deep cherry red with metalflake, tank looks great with no scratches but has a very faint dimple on the top right side (photo) you can hardly see it but thought I'd mention it. A few minor light scratches here and there but nothing that detracts from the overall appearance of this great bike, someone did booger up the air filter cover when trying to remove it at some point but could be replaced if you feel the need it's just the plate trim over the cover and not the cover itself (see photo). No tears in the seat or backrest cushion. Overall a very beautiful bike and a nice example of this style only made a few years. Handles great with a very low seat height (for the inseam challenged). New Metzler tires with maybe 100 miles on them bought in spring of 2009. Runs great with no known issues, carbs where cleaned in the spring as well as new plugs. This is a very nice and clean bike with plenty of life left in it and would make a great Christmas gift for that special someone.........and or yourself! $500 down at auction's end with the balance due within seven days. I will accept any form of payment but it must clear in may account BEFORE I release possession of the bike and title.
