72 Dodge Charger SE Body- The body on this car is solid! The pics tell most of the story but I have to admit this is not a trailer queen. There are some flaws in the paint. There are chips here and there and there is some bubbling in the paint. The black section of the hood has some bubbles that appeared when the car rolled out of the paint shop into the sun, so it was most likely a problem with the prep work. I was waiting until I got a Ramcharger door for it to repaint it, but I just never got around to it. Has NEW R/T tail light lenses, NEW side marker lenses, NEW dual sport mirrors, NEW fender mounted turn signals, etc. Interior- The interior in this car is decent. NEW carpet, the dash has cracks, the door panels are good, NEW headliner, NEW weatherstripping, the seats are nice but are missing the plastic seat backs (I might have a set to throw in), ALL of the gages work (including gas), ALL of the lights work (including interior and reverse), horn, wipers, etc. ALL work. Drivetrain- At some point in the car's life the original 400 big block was replaced with a built 67 440. It is not stock but is still mild enough to drive the car on a daily basis. The 727 trans was also rebuilt and will chirp the tires. The suspension is all NEW with polyeurethane bushings, front sway bar, NEW shocks, NEW leaf springs, etc. Power front disc/rear drum brakes are all NEW from the booster to the pads. Fuel system is all NEW from the tank to the carb. Tires are fairly NEW and still have the little spikes on them. I wouldn't hesitate to get in this car and drive it anywhere! Other- This car is not a real rallye car but IS a real SE. The car is listed for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. This is a no reserve auction so there are no games to play. I have started this auction at WAY less than what I have invested in this car, so please don't offer me less than the starting bid. I do have a LOT of extra Charger parts that I can either sell individually or as a package deal to whoever might be interested. I also have a 74 Road Runner clone and a 68 Newport that I will be listing soon as well as a heap of B-body and E-body parts that need to go in order to make some space in my garage. Payment and shipping There is a $200 deposit due within 24hrs of the auction's end. The balance should be paid within 1 week of the auction's end unless other arrangements were made prior to the auction's end. The car must be paid for in full before it leaves my yard. The car should be picked up by January 3, 2011 (01/03/2011). This should be enough time to make the necessary arrangements, or use the holidays as traveling time.
