You are looking at one of the greats! This car was made in Germany, and is the last year they made them with the round headlights! IT HAS A BRAND NEW TIMING BELT( SEPTEMBER OF 2010), AND ALL NEW BELTS(SEPTEMBER 2010), REBUILT A/C COMPRESSOR ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO, NEW RECEIVER/ DRYER 4 MONTHS AGO, NEW EXPANSION VALVE (SEPTEMBER 2010), REBUILT VACUUM PUMP SEP. 2010, NEW MASTER CYLINDER SEP. 2010!!! ALSO REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR BACK IN MARCH. NO SCAMMERS!!! The Odometer reads 71,895 right now, so I'd imagine it has 171,895 miles on it. I DO USE IT AS A DAILY DRIVER. So by the end of the auction it could have between 172,000 and 174,000. The A/C blows COLD now and keeps me very comfortable hear in FL. The heat works great as well. It has a DUAL HD cd/mp3 player that is sat. ready and has an aux. port to hook up a ipod or mp3 player, and a LIGHTNING AUDIO speaker in each front door. Cigarette liter works. I drove this car all the way back from Oregon and only had the alternator belt break and the old alternator went bad. From Portland, Oregon to Leesburg, Florida I only spent about $250!!!!!! CROSS COUNTRY! It gets over 40 mpg, I'm not sure exactly what the Mpg is. After replacing all that I have, I would be more than confident that it would make another cross country trip. I use it as a daily driver. It is a 4 speed. Never grinds any gears. The clutch works great, and the car is really easy to drive, because the brake pedal does have a good amount of resistance to it when braking and takes some effort. The headliner has several rips in it, and the sunroof has no fabric as seen in the pics. There is a small dent on the back left side half way up in the creese between the body and the hatchback door, there is a spot of surface rust there(shown in pics). On the very front right corner of the car there is a decent size dent which also has some surface rust around it. At the base of the driver door there are two rust spots on either side of the plastic guard. None of the rust spots on the car have made it through the body. There is some fading on the roof and hood, but the paint is in pretty good condition. Next to the gas cap there is a hole cut so that you can put a tank for biodiesel/veg oil in the trunk, that's why you see the gorilla tape. The small triangle shaped window on the front passenger door has been sealed closed. There are cracks in the dash. The windshield wipers just quit on me but I might have them fixed soon.
