Vehicle Detail
WOW SUPER COOL, SUPER NEAT, SUPER GREAT PROJECT TURN HEADS WHERE EVER YOU GO, WHEN YOUR FINISHED WITH THIS PROJECT. RESTORED or CUSTOMIZED, YOUR GONNA BE NOTICED. HOPE YOUR NOT SHY! 1951 FORD F-5 CAB OVER ENGINE (C.O.E.) This is one neat truck, a 51 Ford F5 C.O.E. (Stub Nose). Factory Flat Head V-8, Manual transmission, 2 speed Rear and it has a dump bed! How cool is that? Rather you do it to original condition or customize it, it will be rare. I have seen these trucks restored to original flat beds, turned into tow trucks, car haulers and even slammed pick up trucks and all of them are real head turners. Check them out, just search the internet for Ford COE trucks. I will try to describe this truck to a T for you. The body is super straight for a "60" year old Work Horse. There is no rust through in the floors, roof, fire wall or even under the doors. There is a small amount on the passenger rear cab corner, and the drivers rear cab corner has rust through about 1-1/2" high and about 12" long. The front fenders have some rust through where they bolt to the lower fenders. The hood also has no rust through the same as the doors. There is no rust through around any of the glass. The steps do have some rust through. The frame is solid. The front, rear and passenger door glasses are good, however the vent glasses and drivers door glass is missing. The bed is 13 X 7'-8" and has metal put over the old wood floor. The interior has no cup holders, but it does have a factory ash tray. No A/C but the heater box says "Ford" on it, and wow it even has a spot for a factory radio. The seat frames and springs are still intact. Has no regulator for passenger door. The drive train consist of a Flat Head V-8, Manual Transmission and 2 speed differential. The engine I was told runs, but I never started it (the starter kept locking up). It does turn over and even has good oil in it. I have the chrome for the hood except for 1 F-5 emblem. The passenger door handle is missing the same as the battery box. This truck is a project truck and I'm sure you know how projects go, lots of searching, lots of work but oh how sweet it is when your done. This is the only 51 C.O.E that I have seen for sale. So it should make for a rare little toy or big one for that matter. I'm not looking to make anyone upset, so please ask any questions you may have before bidding. If you have a feedback score of under 10 please contact me before bidding with how you intend to complete the transaction are I will cancel your bid. I will require a 500. dollar Pay Pal deposit within 24 hours of auction end and the balance to be paid within 7 days of auction end. The time for pick up is not important as I do have plenty of room (anything over 30 days, please advise me first). I do leave feedback for my transactions, if they go well and I recieve feedback (sorry, I just don't see why I should leave everyone feedback, when only have of my buyers leave it for me). The truck does have a Indiana title. Truck is sold as is, no warranty. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me through my e-Bay messages or at (352) 835-2064. Thanks for looking and have a great day.
