Hello all, I am selling my lightly used 2007 Honda Interceptor 800. I bought this bike brand new a little over a year ago. After having taken a new job, I am unable to continue to keep this great motorcycle so my loss is someone else's gain. This bike has the Anti-lock brake option installed as well as a Sargent premium saddle. Honestly, I was unsure if the ABS was really a necessary option given the extra cost however I had one experience on a Los Angeles interstate that required very quick braking and the ABS really does work to keep the bike stable in a tight spot. The Sargent saddle has greatly increased the comfort of the ride over the stock saddle. The stock saddle seemed to wear out very quickly so much so that I could feel the seat frame coming up through the seat on bumpy roads. This new seat has definitely fixed that problem. I also installed gel grips to the bike. I would say this addition marginally increased comfort. In my opinion, not as much as some forums would have you believe but it does help to a certain degree. As for the bike itself, as the pictures indicate, it is the dark metallic red paint from the 2007 series. I have completed one oil change, which was at 700 miles recommended by Honda. I used high quality synthetic oil and a high quality filter. Honda recommends an oil change at 700 miles and every 3000 thereafter. So it will need another one soon. As far as the quality of this motorcycle, anyone who has done research or knows about the Honda Interceptor knows they are getting a great motorcycle here. This bike is in immaculate condition with absolutely no faults that I can identify. If anyone has any further questions about this great motorcycle please do not hesitate to ask. Furthermore, for the potential winner, I also have a 5x8 heavy duty open trailer that I bought new in July to move the motorcycle from Los Angeles back to Tennessee. I paid $1,000 for this in July but will make a good deal to the winner if they wish to buy it to help transport the bike back with them. Thanks for looking.
