For Sale: My very fun and cool VW Cabriolet. The car is a 1992 and is in very good condition! 1992 was the second to last year this car was made. It is equipped with power windows, ac, manual transmission, rollbar, all trim pieces in place, heated back glass window, manual convertible top (never have to worry about the top not working!), and cd player with ipod connection. The car gets about 30 MPG. I had the car inspected recently and there are no oil or fluid leaks. The engine doesn't make noises, the transmission and gears shift smoothly, the brakes are good, tires are basically new, and below I have listed some of the work I've had done on the car: new timing belt new heater core shift linkage and bushings new cv joint new fuel pump new fuel filter tune up regular oil changes new alternator Overall the car looks and drives really well. There are no dents in the car, it has never been in an accident. There are a few dings here and there, but nothing major. There was a little rust under the windshield when I got the car. The pics show this. The convertible top has a small hole (that doesn't leak) and two small tears where it first folds (Can see in pics). I am going to patch these. The RPM and fuel gauge on the instrument panel only works when it's cold outside. This is a VERY common problem with cabriolets and you can get another instrument panel, however the mileage on the car would then show differently from the actual car miles and I didn't want that to be the case. Lastly the windshield has a crack on the left side, it doesn't obstruct the view so I have not taken the time to have it replaced. The car will also need a catalytic converter if you have emissions testing in your state. You can get these for 300 or less online and have someone weld it for you. I have tried to list everything to the best of my knowledge.
