Hi, I have for sale a 1973 volkswagon beetle.It has an auto stick transmission. The car has been sitting for 5 years and does not turn over. I took off the carb and poured oil in the intake and tried to turn the engine over with a wrench, It will turn about an inch or so and then stops, so I believe there is rust in the cylinders. The interior is in excellent conditon with no rips in the seats, door panels look new and carpet is in great shape even in the trunk area. headliner is excellent also The dash has one small crack in it and it doesn't have a radio. The body is in really nice shape but has some minor bubbling under parts of the paint, The drivers door has a good size dent in it and the hood has a small dent near the handle. the floors are in great shape exept for behind the drives seat in the rear there is rusting where it has gone through. Glass is all good, windows roll up and down as they should. The running boards are very solid. The front bumper is dented and has rust, rear bumper is pretty decent but has some rust. Tires are like new including the spare. The car would make a great restoration project for someone. Please e-mail with any questions you may have.
