The ding mentioned in the description has been photographed. It actually is an impression on the rear skid plate and can be seen when the light shines on it. I tried to capture it in photo. Obviously it's adjusted for the time in service (one year) and mileage to date. Extended warranties are still available and can be purchased through the dealer. My understanding is the additional warranty coverage (typically a year) is what is offered under the Certified Pre-Owned program.
