Hi, I'm looking to sell my Greymist, 1993 Toyota MR2 N/A 5 speed. I had this car on craigslist but I am now reaching out to eBay Motors! The car has 92,xxx miles and has a completely clean Illinois title. The transmission is smooth, the clutch grabs well, and the steering is nice and tight. This car is somewhat unusual because it has a mid engine, rear wheel drive layout. Although it looks very sporty, it can easily achieve 30 mpg while still giving a nice driving experience. Mechanically speaking, the car is near mint. Thinking that I would be driving the car at school, I recently had several important maintenance issues addressed to ensure the car's daily drivability: 9/1/2010 Timing Belt replaced 9/1/2010 Timing Belt tensioner replaced 9/1/2010 Water pump replaced 9/1/2010 A/C Belt, Alternator Belt replaced 9/1/2010 Passenger side trailer arm fixed 9/15/2010 Wheel Alignment **UPDATE SINCE LAST POSTING, New front strut and alignment + two new front tires 10/20/10 at Good Works Auto Repair in Tempe, AZ ($500)** Note: Car slightly pulls to the right, was told by mechanic that the caster needs to be re-aligned, have not addressed this yet. The car is SOLID and I would have no problem driving across the country. Before I purchased the car in August, I paid Toyota of Lombard, IL to fully inspect the car ($126) and I have proof of this report. All the items that were checked have been addressed (see above). Cosmetically speaking, there are a few minor blemishes: The front bumper has been replaced with an aftermarket one because the original had began to fade and crack over time. The bumper was installed by the previous owner and was paint matched with the rest of the car. The head unit was replaced with a large touch screen which plays CD's, DVD's, MP3 connected devices, TV, and FM/AM The radio antenna was damaged in the back of the car so the previous owner had a hair thin antenna installed in the front windshield, it works perfectly.Two small dings/paint cracks on the trunk from transporting a propane tank from my house grill, (I am in the works of getting this fixed by a local body shop) The paint is in very good condition for the age, it shines very nicely and shows that the car has been garage kept the majority of its life. You will not find a well taken care of SW21 MR2 in the United States with less than 100k miles for less than $7000. Cars is also equipped with a factory alarm system and remote entry control. This car is near mint for its age and is in better condition than the majority of MKII MR2's on cars.com, ebay motors, autotrader ect ect... My price reflects the condition of the car, the money that went into maintaining the car to ensure it's great condition and also the relative low mileage compared to other similar MR2's for sale. These cars are known to last over 200,000 miles!
