THIS 3-YEAR OLD VEHICLE, WITH 72,044 ORIGINAL MILES, WAS USED BY POLICE OFFICIALS FOR VARIOUS DUTIES IS NOW RETIRED FROM THE POLICE SERVICE. THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED NEW, DEALER DIRECT FOR POLICE SERVICE AND IS SERVICED AND MAINTAINED BY MUNICIPAL FLEETS UNTIL SOLD. THIS FORD CROWN VICTORIA HOLDS A CLEAR TITLE AND IS READY FOR NEW OWNERSHIP. AS A POLICE INCEPTOR MODEL, IT WAS DESIGNED WITH A STRONGER ENGINE (4.6 LITER FUEL INJECTION ENGINE) AND SUSPENSION THAN SIMILAR MODELS, AND INCLUDES SPOT LIGHTS. THE CAR COLOR IS BLACK AND WHITE WITH SIGNS OF COMMON WEAR AND TEAR, INCLUDING MINOR SCRATCHES, RUST AND PAINT CHIPPING. RESIDUE REMAINS ON THE VEHICLE WHERE THE LOGO DECALS ONCE WHERE DISPLAYED. Business days are M-F between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm. An appointment is required for pickup as times of availability vary. If no contact is made within 2 business days we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Under Municipal Disposal guidelines we are not able to offer a “Buy it Now” price. The registered eBay winning bidder is required to be present upon vehicle pickup, unless prior arrangement is made with the seller. Winning bidder is also required to have proper proof of insurance, in accordance with Illinois laws, before we will allow the vehicle to be driven away. If vehicles are being towed or removed on a trailer, insurance requirement does not apply. Buyer is responsible for pickup of this vehicle. Vehicles must be picked up within 7 days of close of auction unless prior arrangements have been made with us. Payment of vehicle must be paid upon pickup of the vehicle. Payment will be accepted in the form of cash, cashiers check or money order. No credit card or personal checks will be accepted. Seller does not provide transportation service for buyers. If vehicle is not picked up within the 7 days or the agreed upon time frame, we reserve the right to relist the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise.
