This car is perfect for a restoration. The chassis is rust free. I have been under and though it and other that 2 dime size spots on the right front fender that are bubbling there is no apparent rust on the exterior. The car looks to be a 10+ year old repaint so any problems would have become apparent by now. Clearcoat is peeling so the car should be stripped to do the job right. Does not look to have been involved in any accidents. No frame repairs have been done. It was a grey market car brought into the US and was inspected by the WA State Patrol. They attached a US vin that matches the Euro vin on the driver's door post next to the oem vin. All OEM vins are intact and match title. The car deserves to be cleaned up and repainted by someone with the time to do it right. Engine runs great, no leaks. Trans works great as do the brakes. Interior is in good shape with the exception of the console top needing refinishing. Dash has a "cover" that looks original so assume the original dash is cracked underneath. Rear window of hardtop is cracked. Soft top is installed but the top itself is ratty and needs replacement. Clear WA state title in my name. Car is a 1982 but Ebay does not recognize Euro vin, so ignore the 1980 classification at top. Will deliver to shipper in Seattle/Tacoma area. I will sell it for 3500 but buyer needs to contact me so I can add that provision. Previous attempts to sell have led to scammers hitting buy it now and ruining auction.
