Vehicle Detail

Up for grabs is my personal, beloved 2001 Audi Allroad. I have too many cars and not enough garage space to keep them all. I bought the Audi going on ski trips. But It was only used twice to go to Wintersgreen. I've done a lot of maintenance work to the Audi, at my shop in the last 4 weeks. Basically the clutch and timing belt was due and I wanted to have that done before I offered the Audi on Ebay. Just this morning I had a brand new set of tires installed, and a VA state inspection was done. I did the timing belt and clutch assembly a month ago, however she was not driven since, it was parked in my shop, set upon the lift, the entire time. Here is a list of new parts, that I replaced in the last 4 weeks. 1. Brand new clutch assembly (Disk, pressure plate, throwout bearing.) 2. Brand new driver side front axle. 3. Brand new alternator. 4. New timing belt and pulleys. 5. New radiator reservoir bottle (see in photo.) 6. Replaced both temperature exhaust sensors. 10. A brand new set of tires all around. (this morning) 11. Both Xenon bulbs. 12. Heavy duty, Audi Allroad rubber floor mats. (a year ago.) 13. Brand new spark plugs (two weeks ago) The Audi is fully loaded: Solar sunroof, heated steering wheel and seats, Xenon lights, CD radio and CD changer in trunk, Back compartment net and cover both. Power everything of course. The Audi was also chip-tuned by the previous owner. In one of the photos you can see the sticker in the rear window. There are a couple of minor dings in the driver's door, a dent in the rear hatch (barely noticeable) There is front right bumper grill that's missing. One of my employees promised to buy the missing grill for my Birthday, but he kept forgetting and I stopped asking eventually. There are couple of other problems. The center display in the cluster has bad pixels. I had that screen always turned off. It's a basic Audi problem. The other issue is that when you drive her kind of sporty and accelerate hard, the engine bucks down. The only OBDII codes in the system were those of the Exhaust temperature sensors. I was hoping that took care of it, but it didn't. I assume a vacuum leak, at one of the hoses to the air intake coolers. Also when the car sits for a week, the air suspension sags a bit. However the system raises right back up when you put the key in the ignition. Please bare in mind that I will not refuse a reasonable offer outside of ebay. So if you been looking for an 8-speed Allroad, you know they are hard to come by. Most of them on ebay are Automatic transmissions. Along with all the work that's ben done in the past 4 weeks, i know what the car should be worth. Please consider that before you make an unreasonable offer. Also, don't ask me with emails how I will take. Give me a number and I will say yes or now, or you out of your mind :-) Please do some research for the retail of manual transmission Audi Allroads before you throw any numbers at me. I purchased the car from a local Helicopter pilot, he took very good care of it. The car is VERY clean, has an ice cold air condition. She was never neglected and was mostly kept in the garage while I was not driving her. There is no warranty of any kind. Sold As Is, Where Is. If you like to fly in and drive her home, let me know and I'll be glad to pick you up from the airport. Norfolk and The Patrick Henry airport are both within ten minutes from me by car. Happy bidding everyone. On Nov-11-10 at 09:18:10 PST, seller added the following information: If it means anything to any of you. I'm the author of Torn From Normal, and I will include a free copy with the Audi :-) I also like to mention, I am willing to take a partial trade, German, or Japanese car only though. --Martin Bartloff
