Vehicle Detail

For sale is a clean and very well preserved 1991 Mercury Colony Park wagon with less than 49000 original miles. Last year of production. One owner, meticulously maintained and always garaged. No rust, no body damage. Clean velour interior, no rips, no stains, perfect headliner, no smoking ever. Has the two jumper seats in the rear, categorized as an 8 passenger wagon. Two way tailgate, works fine in both positions. Power windows, brakes, drivers side mirror and seat. Power antenna and power rear window switch controlled. Power rear window also activated by key in rear door. Factory towing package hitch installed, original factory wiring harness not installed, included as shown in picture. Original books included. All systems functioning properly with the exception of the radio which is tuned to 101.9 FM, plays fine, but tuner will not allow the channel to be changed. Was tuned to 660 AM WNBC when I got in, and as soon as I changed the station, the tuner button ceased to work. Probably was on the same station for 19 years prior. Pictures show an few minor easily correctible defects: vinyl woodgrain scratches on passenger side rear door, and discolored silicone on rear door rubber. I would just touch up the door, and replace the window rear window seal if I was keeping the car. Car does not leak, I took it through the car wash this morning and it was tight. Coin holder on dash, check. Compass on dash, check. Fits a full sheet of 4 x 8 plywood flat with tailgate down, check. Tailgating vehicle credibility, absolutely. Future collectible potential, certainly. Make your wife angry when you bring it home? Sure worked for me. Drives perfectly, cruises easily at 75 mph, shifts and stops smoothly. This is a nice car, and is in excellent condition for its age. If you are looking for a useable wagon, take a close look at the pictures, this is a nice one, not many left in this condition. This car is for sale locally as well, so I reserve the right to end this auction early. Ask questions if you have them, I will answer honestly. On Nov-23-10 at 13:13:52 PST, seller added the following information: Would like to add a few things. Just had the AC serviced and charged, and it appears that it was converted for 134A refrigerant, works fine now. Also, the vehicle is equipped with air shocks in the rear, got a good look when it was up on the lift.
