Vehicle Detail

This bike was previously just advertised, but because I listed it as "pay in cash" instead of "pay cash in person" I had to remove it and relist it again; sorry for the confusion. - So again....I am selling my gorgeous 1998 Honda ACE Tourer 1100 mid-size “cruising-tourer” as Honda calls it. It sold for $11,499.00 brand new. It is still a head-turner without a doubt. I bought it this year with a little damage, it was in a little bump up, so I replaced the forks and then took it to my local trusted Honda man for a complete check over and a fluids change – it received a clean bill of health; I have the receipt; bike has a clear title. I have ridden it to school on an interstate (120 miles/day) at 70 MPH and had no problems. It rides ultra smooth and very easy to maneuver with plenty of power. The bike is mechanically perfect as far as I know and I would trust it anywhere – it is a Honda! My wife and I ride it on weekends some and it has plenty of power to ride two. Hondas never need valve adjustments like others because they automatically adjust themselves. I have added a sissy bar and additional brake lights for safety– see pics! The front tire is an almost brand new Metzler, the rear tire can be used about another 2,000 miles. It is a 1998 and is not perfect – so please look at the pictures. It has a small ding in the headlight, scuff on a hard saddle bag, tiny crack at windshield bottom, and a small paint chip on tank. This bike turns heads; it has a very rare factory color combination; not just another black bike! Mileage might increase a little because I may take it for a spin; weather is still good! Full payment is to be made 100% cash in person, within 72 hours of sale ending. I am sorry can’t ship, but I will gladly help load it. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding! This bike will make someone a very nice ride that will last a long time. See below what “motorcyclecruiser.com” said about the 1998 Honda ACE Tourer. “Living with the Tourer was a pleasant experience, but we think that Honda has defined it too narrowly. The bike excels at much more than just touring. For our $11,499 (or $10,999 in basic black), the Tourer is the best Shadow yet, combining the best of the original, the A.C.E. and the Spirit with attractions all its own. True to the dictionary's definition of cruising, we found ourselves riding just for the heck of it. And it performed well no matter what the mission-commuting, cruising, bending down windy country roads, or eating up the interstate. Everywhere we stopped, people commented on the bike's style and good looks. While we loved to listen to people say nice things about our ride, we didn't stand around talking for long. We wanted to get back on the road”.
