This is your rare opportunity to own a classic 1956 BMW Bubble Window Isetta 300 with “Z” trim. It is in nice condition! There are very few “Bubble Z’s” out there – so don’t let this one pass you up! LOW STARTING BID! Matching engine and serial plate numbers! The car’s condition is perfect for anyone looking for a solid, original car in good condition or fully restore it to its original “Red” color. This car has been painted in a blue and white (although brand new it was “Red”), and the interior bench seat has been rebuilt and re-upholstered. I purchased the car in 2007, and drove it around a bit before deciding it probably wasn’t safe to continue without replacing the hoses, which are original to the car and should be replaced for safe driving. The clutch and transmission are in very good condition. Most experts agree that very few exist. If you are going to own an Isetta, it should be a very rare Bubble Z mold. The car is rust free. Body of the car is in very good condition, with minor work that could be done to make it a solid investment . The back bumper has been removed and is included, and will need some work to restore it to original condition. Original sunroof has some minor staining, but it is in very good condition, and opens and closes easily. I was told this car has a horizontal front suspension, but since I am not familiar with this, I leave it up to the bidders to help me more accurately describe this vehicle. The working odometer reads 19655. This car is perfect for the weekend restorer! Extra carburetor, 3 extra hubcaps, and taillight covers included, as well as a box of new spark plugs to get you started. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer; however, shipping costs are greatly reduced when it is shipped as an ATV (that’s how I had it shipped to me- and I saved $$$$).
