Up for auction one 1997 Nissan Altima with 188974 miles on it. Car is in good physical condition but needs some minor work. The engine runs great and the transmission shifts smoothly. It does leak a little oil from the seals and does have a very minor coolant leak that seems to be coming from the hose that goes to the overflow tank. No coolant in the oil so there is no problem with head gasket. Engine does not smoke. The battery and alternator are less than a year old, starter replaced about a year and a half ago, and belts and hoses replaced two years ago. The air conditioner compressor was also changed a couple of months ago. Car was bought from another owner with approx 134000 miles on it a couple of years ago and used as a commuter car. Car has some dings and dents in it but no major body damage. There is some rust in the area of the bottom of the drivers door and around the right rear wheel. Tires are legal but will need to be replaced somewhere down the road. Interior is in good condition, could use a good cleaning but seats and interior intact. Has an aftermarket AM/FM Stereo receiver with CD player. Power FM antenna does not work. This car needs the following to be ready for the road: rear brakes, right rear wheel cylinder (makes car not driveable at the moment). The brake lines are also in need of replacement. I have two other cars and just don't have the time to do the work myself on the car. Someone with a little time and knowledge about cars could put this good running car back on the road in no time.
