1960 Desoto Fireflite 4 dr sedan Barn find, kind of. This car to the best of my knowledge has been sitting in a dilapidated garage since sometime in 1985. A friend and I had known of the car for some 2 years or so, but could not get the owner to show it to us. We finally got a chance to see it a month ago. Much to our dismay the car was in extremely poor condition. We decided to still purchase the car virtually sight unseen. We could only see it through the the broken windows of the garage. It was boarded into the garage and we could not even get around it. The engine is frozen, but I think with some time and work, it might be able to be freed up. Worst case it should be rebuildable. Push button transmission, is intact. Most of the stainless is complete and in pretty good shape. All the glass is good, the grill is pretty straight also. Don't under estimate when I say this car is very rough, and very rusty. I don't know if I would recommend trying to restore this car, unless your really good with metal work. The quarters, trunk lip, and floors are very rusty. Also check other items I have for sale. I have another set of bumpers that are very straight and just need to be rechromed. Spec's 361 cid V8, push button 3 speed automatic Car is virtually complete and straight, just very rough and rusty.
