2008 Honda CBR

Up for sale is my divorce bike. I bought it for my birthday in August 2008 while facing an impending divorce. We worked it out and now the wife needs braces. Insert joke here. The bike needs to go to pay for braces. The bike is essentially new and has 293 hundred miles on it. The bike needs an oil change and a wash. I will be doing both tomorrow 10-18-10 along with taking pictures for the ebay listing. The bike is bone stock with the exception of a smaller primary sprocket that was installed by the dealer. The bike came from the factory geared for high speed. The smaller sprocket made the bike more manageable around town. The bike is scary fast and is not a first bike for anyone. This is not my first bike. Of course the bike was adult driven by me and I am old school at 48 years old. I believe both wheels belong on the ground. If you are in the area I can arrange a viewing in person but I will not allow test rides. The tile is clear and in my possession so there are no banks to deal with. I am in the Northwest Chicago area and the buyer will have to pickup or have shipping arranged. Paypal is ideal but cash works too. Included is the bike and service manual. This is a relisting. I can not go cheaper so please do not send any offers. If not sold I will list an ad in the spring and park the bike in front of my house and surely get my price. Thank you for looking and the bike is for real. It has not been dropped damaged crashed etc. There is no horror story. It's just a nice bike.
