This is a 1972 Volkswagen convertible that's in running condition. We bought it to restore for our son, but he didn't want a classic. The car is in fair condition and would not take much to make it a daily driver. It runs and drives. The brakes work good, the lights work correctly. It will pass inspection as it sits right now. The car is presently driveable but is not being used as a daily driver at this point. The things that need attention: 1. The driver's seatcover needs to be replaced. A whole set of new seat covers that are the basketweave style comes with the car. 2. The top is in fair condition. It does need one patch on the rear window as you can see in the pic. 3. The car still has the original paint on it. The only floor pan rust is under the battery. 4. There's some rust on the quarters as is normal for a VW. 5. The rear bumper is a little tarnished, but only cost around 135.00 brand new. A whole tub of additional parts including the carb, distributor will come with the car.
