DUE TO THE MANY QUESTIONS I HAVE RECEIVED ABOUT THE LOW MILEAGE, I WILL EXPLAIN: A. I purchased the bike new in February 2007 from the BMW dealer in Scottsdale, AZ. B. In the first year after purchasing the bike, I decided I am too old to ride (I am now 67 years old) C. The bike has been stored inside in my garage the entire time. D. The bike has been started about once a month to charge the battery and keep the seals lubricated. E. The tires have been maintained fully inflated during the entire time. BMW motorcycles have long been known as the ULTIMATE RIDER'S MACHINE. They are engineered with the rider in mind every step of the way. The R1200R was designed to provide you with the power, speed & handling of a track bike, combined with the comfort & dependabilty BMW street bikes are famous for. Though this bike was designed with everyday riding in mind, don't think BMW forgot about performance & handling. Quite the opposite is true. This bike has the same computer contolled fuel injected 1200cc opposing twin cylinder Boxer engine as the other R-series bikes. BMW has been building this engine in one form or another for nearly a century. Over the years the engine has evolved into one of the most dependable, smoothest running, most powerful motors ever built. Putting out 108 horse power, this boxer is FAST! The power to weight ratio is perfect. The suspension is also all business. Inverted front forks & a single center mounted coil over control the front. A single side swing arm & single coil over takes care of the rear. There is also a factory steering stabilizer to keep you nice & tight in deep corners. Stopping is handled by an ABS system which consists of massive twin disks & calipers in the front, combined with a single disk setup in the rear, contolled by the bike's computer. The end result is a comfortable rider with un-paralleled performance & handling. These bikes are just amazing! This particular R1200R might as well be a brand new motorcycle. Everything about the bike is flawless! It looks as if it has never been ridden. There is not one ding. Not one scratch. Not even a chip in the paint anywhere. Everything about this BMW is as clean as new. If you saw this motorcycle in the showroom of your local dealership, you would think it was a brand new 2010 model! This bike has several options like heated grips, ABS, systems management computer, side stand, center stand, two windshields (one shown, another lower windshield included), hard side cases (saddle bags) (not shown, never used). No changes have been made to this bike. It has not been altered in any way. This BMW is 100% bone stock and original. Just like it rolled off the showroom floor. CONDITION- Guaranteed to be as new and and never dropped. It is obvious that this motorcycle has never been ridden hard or abused.
