This is a project car i just bought for the frame for one of my current customers. after getting it home and seeing the extensive work done on the suspension, brakes, 3.23 posi rear end etc I decided to assemble all of what he had together and just sell it as a recreation 1965 gto 4spd tripower white convertible with a red interior,can it get any better than that? This is a 1965 Pontiac Le mans true 4 speed v8 car. I have the origonal numbers matching block that was just picked up from the engine shop where it was all gone over as was the crank.have rods too. if desired i have several 65 326 heads/intakes available here,but i was leaning towards sticking my 389 in it and my 66 tri=powerwhich was redone I am including a running 326 from 1965,and a 2 spd automatic with the Buy-It-Now price only. I have several 389's even a sweet 65 326 available but not included with sale. the car has a redone 3.23 posi. Car looks 95% complete except for motor and trans is gone. top frame is real nice, header seems to hardly have any rust at all. Car obviously needs floor and trunk pan and some wheel well work. Driver side fender has a dent at the headlight, driver door is rusty at bottom, but the fenders look almost new on the back side at the brace where they usually rust. Car could easily part for 4,000$ so i figure if i sell it for 3500 but it now, with numbers matching block and a good running 326 it saves me the time of parting it out and provides someone with a great 65 4 speed convertible clone. and as you know these are getting really hard to find. All seats are in great shape except for base of drivers which needs springs. Would restore it myself but am restoring 4 Bonnevilles. this car needs floor pans and a trunk pan,i would add more pics but it only has 12,so i can send floor pics,frams needs NO repair,but floors are shot as is usual in these convertibles. NOTE! tires shown are for pic purposes,4 SS tires will be on it when it leaves here (SS-slicks/snows) but non leakers. also I will include for the buy it now price the complete exhaust system which is half new,half great shape,gas tank,radiator, the underhood stuff odds and ends. i know i am forgetting alot,so ask!
