1987 Suzuki LT500R, The Legendary Quadzilla, The Quad is in pretty good shape but could use a little TLC. I bought the Quad last year and rode it a couple of times.The last time I rode it, it over heated and I had to put a new top end in it. Since then I have had knee surgery and can no longer start it. After I put the top end in, a friend of mine started it and I rode it about 15 minutes and it seemed to start running hot again. I shut it off and havnt started it since. It must need a water pump or something. The plastics arent great but not horrible. It needs a cap for the radiator overflow bottle.It needs a countershaft seal. Some of the plastics just need bolted on.All very minor stuff. The quad needs very little to ride. the tires are in great shape and the quad comes with a high compression head and top end pipe for drag racing.Chassis bearings and suspension are in great shape, the previous owner,Who had owned it for 10 years, claimed he replaced the chassis bearings not too long ago.Overall the quad is in pretty good shape and wont take much to make it great.
