1960 Ford F100 Short Wide Box Pickup, Frame Up restoration. Absolutely everthing has been renewed, rebuilt or gone thru with the exception of the bench seat and sun visors. Has original AM tube type radio; it was removed to check the tubes before photos were taken. The engine is brand new, original engine, completely rebuilt. The same with the transmission and rear axle. The springs were re-arched; has also brand new brake lines, brakes, brake drums, etc. No part of this pickup is lacking attention, everything has been done already. I purchased this pickup from the "son" of the original owner, his father. It had stayed in the original family all of its life until I purchased it last year. It was in very good condition with only 73,708 miles on it when I purchased it and without rust. It was a joy to restore. I would love to keep it but my work is about to take me out of the country for a while and some "toys" must go. We just cannot justify paying the storage fees for the next 12 months or so. I have invested more than $20,000 in this pickup but need to sell it soon, so this is a no reserve auction. This pickup was appraised at $19,500.00 verbally by a collector of Ford classic cars and pickups. A non-refundable deposit of $1000.00 is due thru PayPal within 2 days of close of auction, the balance due within 7 days of close of auction.
