For sale here is my 1974 Rolls Royce Corniche convertible, with very chic and desirable black and tan color scheme. Originally imported new to North America in 1974, the car is in immaculate condition inside and out. I bought the car in 2007, I am a photographer and at the time I was working / living in LA, I had so much fun in this car, I drove with friends the entire route 66 in summer 2008, with the hood down, sun blazing and music blaring all the way! During my ownership the “Rolls” was maintained with genuinely no expense spared. When I got her she had been stored for some time and had some of the typical problems a car of this age and type has, but all issues have been resolved and she is now a beautiful and totally reliable, everyday use classic. To say she is a head turner is putting it mildly, especially with her gorgeous chrome bumpers. I own several classic cars and this one gets no end of jealous looks, at the same time as admiring comments; people just love her elegant lines and quintessential Englishness. She is also lovely to drive; very modern feeling, with effortless power steering, almost step less automatic transmission, enormous power from the V8, and solid but velvet smooth suspension and handling. The quality of finish is second to none; Rolls Royce motor cars in this era really were the last word in quality and luxury. The car has been maintained during my ownership by premium Rolls Royce garage, Scott Motors, who are based in west LA. Amongst their distinguished clients are Will Smith, Joan Collins as well as the late Dudley Moore. Recent work includes cylinder head rebuild to replace valve seals, a full service and new water pump. As I said, I have spent thousands getting her in absolutely mint condition, so any inspection is welcome. There is an enormous history file with the car with all her service records, invoices from Scott Motors and every important document from her early days including original purchase order and bill of sale.
