Vehicle Detail
This is a great little car. Its in good running condition and running on WVO with the Greascar kit which is almost $1,000 by itself. I also added a FPHE so that it gets up to temperature a little faster. Mechanically she's running well. There is no rust (she's from CA and undercoated), but the paint is fading in a couple of spots. And there are a couple other minor cosmetic issues (trim, ect.) Its the sedan 4-door and actually the 300d model, but the last owner put in the turbo engine. I installed a new stereo. I have been driving it everyday for 4 months and I haven't had any problems yet. I drove it from my home in MN to VT (1,500 miles) with no problems. I am going to school in the winter and I realized that I won't really have time to deal with the WVO process (collecting, filtering, etc). Its a 30 year old car so there are a few minor problems: -Air Conditioning doesn't work. I haven't had it looked at so I don't know what the problem is, most likely it needs new compressor. The belt was cut for fuel efficiency.-Cruise Control doesn't work. I think the cable just needs to be shortened, but I'm not sure-A few small tears in seats and carpet -Needs a new stereo antenna-There are a few cosmetic issues (scratches, bent trim, fading paint) but no rust-The front driver's side caliper was recently replaced. The passenger's side should be done at some point, but it has been fine so far. Its not a hard job. On the greasy side:It runs great on veg. I installed a oil temp gauge, but I can't seem to get that to work, I have just been going off coolant temp. and using a meat thermometer to make sure I'm hot enough. The FPHE get the oil real hot real quick. It takes 7-8 minutes or so. I'm not sure I have the coolant hoses routed as efficiently as they could be either. Thats easy to change though. Its got a 13-14 gallon tank in the trunk. I live in MN, but will be in VT until Thanksgiving or so when I will head home. At that point I would be happy to deliver it anywhere for 20-25 cents mile, to cover gas. If you have any questions or need more pictures let me know. I want to be as honest as I can with this, so I would like to send you pictures of the few cosmetic issues. I would also consider selling the vehicle w/out the veg. oil system if you are not interested in that. May consider other offers, just get in touch with me. hooloovoo33 (at) gmail (dot) com No Reserve
