you are looking at an above average 38 year old 1972 mercury marquis brougham 2 dr h.t. with only 56710 miles... the car has been stored inside since 1995....the motor is a 429 cid 4 bbl w/ automatic trans. this car is 100% complete and runs great... the interior is like new including the carpet and headliner as is the top with the exception of a couple of small bubbles below the rear window... the car will need the gas tank cleaned, the floor of the trunk is soft and has a rust through (pictured). the front floor boards seem to be solid as does the pass. rear but the drivers side rear floor board is soft. there is very little other rust... i have tryed to show that in the pictures... something fell on the windshield and broke it (pictured) (71-72 ltd is the same). there are a few small dents on the hood and truck lid that you can't see in the pictures (may be slight hail damage) but none on the top or sides.... this car is not perfect and would be a very easy restoration or clean the fuel tank, put a new battery in it and drive it.... i am pricing this car to sell with a low reserve.... will have to be trailered... sold as is.... clear il. title.... thanks for looking... any questions please e-mail me or call 217-370-9185 anytime.... jim (bosshog)
