Vehicle Detail
wesellitforyou97459 Store 1972 Ford Maverick Grabber This car is factory original-with the exception of the dual exhaust! The dual exhaust was installed in 1999/2000 and was professionally done. Current owner purchased car in 1975 with 17,000 miles on her from the original owner. Has the factory 302 with 3-speed on the floor as you can see in the photo's. Car runs excellent-no mechanical issues that are known. As far was we know it is original factory paint. The body is straight with some small blemishes, a touch of surface rust in the front fender wells, and a small (5"x5") patch of paint bubbling on the front lower corner of the passenger door. I tried to show the patch in the close-up of that spot but you can't really make it out against the red. Also the front plastic grill took a rock and broke out a small section shown in the photo's. The interior is in pretty great shape as well. The white leather seats are just a bit "dingy" and could probably use a good cleaning/restoration. No tears and not much wear on the seats themselves. The carpeting looks brand new-well not brand new but it does look amazing for a car of this age! The dash is in great shape-no cracks, no fading. The only real issue in the interior is some small patches of mildew? on the plastics around the door seals and a small tear in the roof, most of which I show in the photo's. Also 1 other issue, the "arm rests" for the back seat have the edges "worn away". It is tough to describe they look almost like they were made from styrofoam with the "sharp" edges rubbed with your thumb until they are rounded. I tried to show it in the pics but you just can't really see it with white-on-white. Winning bidder will be expected to pay $500.00 deposit through pay pal within 24 hours of auction close. Pick-up/shipping will be the responsibility of the winner. On Oct-09-10 at 14:40:48 PDT, seller added the following information: Correction!!! The paint is not factory original, the car was repainted in 2006 with the original factory colors. so just to be clear-it the original color scheme-not the original paint job.
