I'am The 2nd owner of this Mercedes 300D Turbo diesel, .The last yr. of this Body style. The ledgendary 5 cylinder Turbo Diesel is long lasting, dependable, & economical. Probably one of the best cars Mercedes ever Made. With only 125k there is a lot of life left in this jewel. MECHANICAL: Everything Works. New belts as well as upper & lower radiator hoses. New Interstate Battery. Recent oil & fuel Filter change. Approx. 4 yr. old A.C. compressor. ( BLOWS COLD) Transmission shifts smoothly, Suspension, Steering, brakes all in good shape. Power windows, sun roof, door locks work as they should. No oil or fluid leaks. This solid old Mercedes drives as new. 21k on the tires. EXTERIOR: NO RUST. The original paint is faded a bit but still presentable. A couple of door dings & a small piece of the grille is missing. No signifigant Scratches or Dents. All glass is good, no rock dings or cracks. INTERIOR: Other then a small hole on the Drivers seat & a very small hole in the center of the rear seats, The interior is in excellent condition. No cracks on the dash.. Carpet in good shape. Original radio has been replaced with a Sony am fm cd player, in working condition. Note: Back in 1998 this Mercedes was involed in a minor accident. Had a certified Mercedes Mechanic look @ the car & he could not determine where any damage occured. Evidently a minor fender bender. The car drives sraight with no issues. Would not hesitate to drive this car across country. San Antonio International Airport Pick up, not a problem. Thanks
